RISING TO THE TOP  (A Look at Rising Stars in Entertainment)

Welcome to HJM Entertainment’s “Rising to the Top.”   HJM Entertainment is a new entertainment company that’s also an independent record label offering aspiring recording artists a variety of expertise, resources, services and support needed to take them to where they want to go professionally. Our extensive list of services include everything from artist development, management, marketing CD recordings, production and concert promotion, to music education and etiquette training.

In launching our new company, we wanted to do something different and take a new approach to finding new talent, because we felt it wasn’t enough just to find people who could sing.  Everyone was doing that.  So we created the “Phoenix Rising New Artist Recording Search,” which launches April 1, 2012.  This search adopts the concept of a phoenix, the bird that symbolizes rebirth as it rises from the ashes of what was supposed to be the end of its life or career only to be rejuvenated, find a new beginning and start to soar.

We’re really excited about our search, which begins in the southeast and is already garnering quite a bit of attention and positive pre-launch buzz. Its inspiration stems from the life of HJM Entertainment’s Founder/CEO, Helga J. Moore, who has experienced more than a few challenges in her personal and professional life, yet who continues to push to higher heights.  The search encourages aspiring and extremely talented vocalists who have seen some enormous life challenges, which to some may seem overwhelming, but who continue to push towards their dreams of becoming recording artists and performers.  At HJM Entertainment, we believe there are more artists like these out there than people may realize and we want to help as many as possible live their dreams.

There are thousands of such people in various entertainment industries who are like the Phoenix, but who we never hear anything about.  Then there are the ones who inspire the rest to rise to their fullest potential, push towards and achieve their dreams, no matter the obstacles.  We want to share their stories here also.  “Rising to the Top,” will seek to bring readers news and information coming from the all aspects of the entertainment industry, emphasizing but not limited to music.

The entertainment industry incorporates the artistic arenas of film, television, advertising, modeling, theatre, dance, sports, even food and dining--industries in which music has always played a major part in some way.  We will look at the many challenges, joys and triumphs of those seeking to break through in their respective professions, as well as those now enjoying success.

So we hope you come to HJM Entertainment’s “Rising to the Top” blog to get some news and updates about our company, our Phoenix Rising New Recording Artist Search, and to find out what’s happening and who’s coming up throughout the vast entertainment industry.

Until the next time, never stop rising to the top!”
